Beirut, SANA- Two Italian planes arrived at Beirut International Airport at dawn, on Monday, carrying humanitarian, food and medical aid to Syria. The two planes were received by the Chargé d’affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Lebanon, Ali Daghman, who expressed his thanks to the Italian government and people for this humanitarian initiative. Daghman hailed the facilitations provided by the Lebanese government in this field. Meanwhile, Minister of Public Works and Transport in the Lebanese caretaker government, Ali Hamiyah, announced on his Twitter account that humanitarian aid to Syria is still flowing through Beirut International Airport.
