Today we are using this space to thank all of our generous Ukiah Food Bank Drive donors. As always, you have come through in a big way. This year’s drive total is $159,680! The wonderful thing about this drive and a primary reeason the Ukiah Daily Journal initiated it almost two decades ago, is that the funding goes directly to the Food Bank’s existence and it’s serevices. The Ukiah Food Bank is one of the most important services we have locally. The key word being “local.” The Food Bank keeps food on the tables in hundreds of households in the Ukiah Valley, from young working families, to senior citizens, veterans, and the disabled.
