Damascus, SANA –Minister of Health Dr. Hasan al-Ghabash discussed on Sunday with IAEA’s coordinator for “Impact Review” program, Arsene Jurek, ways of enhancing cooperation on cancer control. This meeting comes as conclusion to Syria Cancer Control Reality Assessment Program, in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, World Health Organization and Cancer Research Agency. Jurek’s visit will include holding meetings to arise awareness about cancer, setting national priorities, planning and implementing cancer control plans, and touring cancer facilities.
