Today we recommend a Yes vote on Measure P on this November’s ballot. Measure P provides a unique opportunity to take some of the heat off of our (mostly volunteer) local fire departments without raising total current taxes. It would do this by redirecting ¼ cent from an expiring portion of county sales tax to support fire prevention and protection.
