The National Seismic Network of the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) on Saturday recorded an earthquake 21km northeast of Hurghada. The head of the NRIAG Gad al-Qadi explained in a statement that the tremor occurred at 1:31:02 on Saturday, with a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale. Qadi added that the tremor occurred at a depth of 20 km, at a latitude of 27.42 degrees north and longitude 33.91 degrees east.
