A free medical camp, organised by the CIC Wakra Zone in collaboration with Allevia Medical Centre at Allevia Clinic in Meshaf, benefited more than 500 low-income workers. A team of 12 doctors and paramedical staff and about 60 CIC volunteers served in the camp. Necessary medicines were also distributed free of cost. In her inaugural address, Wakra Health Centre director Dr Amina Ibrahim Fakhru said such camps play a great role in helping different communities to co-operate with each other and to set a noble example of mutual love.
