A Covelo man was arrested for allegedly attacking a woman with a hatchet, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies responded to Airport Road in Covelo around 3 a.m. Sept. 24 after a woman reported the day prior that Fox Blue Hoaglin, 46, of Covelo, had violated a court order. The deputies were told that Hoaglin came to the victims’ property in violation of a “served tribal court order,” and was allegedly armed with a hatchet, which he reportedly swung at one of the two female victims.
