Hama, SANA- Harvest season of pistachio has started in Hama northern countryside, with it being marketed to Murek local market which is the most important one with more than 100 tons per day. “Hama started to restore its shining in growing and producing the pistachio, especially after the return of locals to their towns and villages”, pistachio office director at the Agriculture Ministry, Jihad al-Muhammad, told SANA reporter.
