Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI ) organised an orientation for the first cohort of students for the PhD programme Sunday. Dr Abdel Wahab El-Affendi, president of DI described the day as a historical moment in DI’s path since the launch of the PhD studies programme which shows the peak of achievement for any postgraduate institution. Dr El-Affendi confirmed that four students have been accepted in the programme; two Qatari students, one resident of Qatar and the fourth one is an international student from Switzerland. Eman al-Sulaiti, executive director of the Administrative and Financial Division at the institute addressed the gathering and welcomed the new students into DI family
