Hijack season 2 release schedule: When is episode 3 on Apple TV?

Where season 1 took us on a tense seven-hour flight from Dubai to London, Hijack is now back for more – and this time, we're going underground.

Idris Elba is back in the leading role as Sam Nelson, the smart-thinking business negotiator who managed to get to the bottom of the situation in season 1 and risked the lives of himself, the passengers onboard and his family to do so.

This season has already premiered with a bang, with Sam once again right in the thick of an unfolding (and escalating) hijack situation. The difference this time around is that not everything is quite what it seems as it initially appears as though Sam is the one orchestrating everything.

Elba did tease what the emotional state of his character means for the events of season 2, telling RadioTimes.com exclusively about what Sam's gone through: "I think it’s real trauma, it’s real loss and trying to understand... Sam, for a living, negotiates, closes deals and finds weak spots. I can just imagine that he couldn’t really face himself, looking in the mirror and not understanding how he got there.

"And then of course, for it to continue and it got worse, we see a man that’s really a shell but so determined. That determination is what we leaned into to keep this train running.”

This season, fans have eight episodes to get excited about rather than season 1's seven-part count. But when do new instalments land on Apple TV? Read on for everything you need to know.
