The app-only bundle lands at a pivotal moment for the fast-casual chain. Panera has been working to steady itself after a rocky stretch marked by smaller portions, cost-cutting changes like switching salads from all romaine to a romaine-and-iceberg mix, and lingering fallout tied to its highly caffeinated Charged Lemonade. The company settled the remaining lawsuits connected to the drink last year.
