In Buffalo’s previous three one-score playoff losses (2021 Divisional Round vs. Chiefs, 2023 Divisional Round vs. Chiefs, 2024 AFC Championship vs. Chiefs), Allen committed zero turnovers and was what allowed them to be competitive in the first place.
This time, he and the Bills had every chance to win it and just couldn’t.
“And if one or two plays go our way, it’s a different story,” Allen said.
So as the eighth season in Allen’s career comes to a close, he and the Bills will pack their bags back to Buffalo, but as emotion overcame the Bills lockerroom, one thing was obvious–blame or no blame, the Bills love their quarterback.
