The leaks surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S25 series have generated considerable excitement among tech enthusiasts and consumers alike. According to sources, the dimensions for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra have been revealed, indicating a slight reduction in size compared to their predecessors . Specifically, the standard Galaxy S25 is expected to measure 146.94 mm x 70.46 mm x 7.25 mm, while the S25+ and Ultra models will also be marginally thinner yet taller than previous iterations. This information aligns with earlier rumors regarding the design of these upcoming smartphones.
A few weeks ago, leaker @OnLeaks revealed the expected design of the Galaxy S24 successors (Galaxy S25 | Galaxy S25+ | Galaxy S25 Ultra) based on CAD models. The rough dimensions have also been leaked, but we now have even more precise information thanks to a leaker from the South Korean Naver forum. All dimensions of the three Galaxy S25 models have recently been posted there:
The Galaxy S25 measures 146.94 x 70.46 x 7.25 mm. At 147.0 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm, the Galaxy S24 is wider and, above all, thicker.
The Galaxy S25+ measures 158.44 x 75.79 x 7.35 mm. The Galaxy S24+ is also slightly wider and thicker at 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.7 mm.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to measure 162.82 x 77.65 x 8.25 mm and, compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra at 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.6 mm, is not only thinner and less wide but also slightly taller.
As you can see from those comparisons, there's not going to be a whole lot of difference in terms of sizes for next year's models – though each one is going to be thinner than the Galaxy S24 model it's replacing.
They're also more or less the same as the measurements that have been mentioned in previous rumors, adding to the likelihood that these figures are right. The phones are expected to be revealed in January, a year after the Galaxy S24 series.
Just a couple of days ago we saw a leaked image featuring dummy units of all three Galaxy S25 phones, another indicator that the shapes and sizes will match up with the current models (though perhaps have slightly thinner bezels).
Both Samsung and Apple are also looking to branch out further. Samsung already manufactures a ton of appliances but it’s now also looking to develop an XR (Extended Reality) device alongside Google and Qualcomm. Apple, meanwhile, is looking to make a name for itself in the robotics industry after giving up on its car project. The iPad robot sounds silly at first but it may lead to much greater things in the future.
