DENVER (KDVR) — Friends say Kevin Carter was hit head-on while cycling near Highways 103 and 74 in Evergreen at about 6 p.m. on Monday, causing his death. The Colorado State Patrol confirmed the 50-year-old cyclist's death occurred after a collision with a Subaru Outback. The Patrol said the 66-year-old driver stayed on scene.
