Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Monday that 204 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 45 other cases recovered while 9 passed away. In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus cases registered in Syria has reached up to 30,913 till now, of which 23,093 have recovered while 2,136 others have passed away. The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
