Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 130 coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 20 other cases recovered, while 5 passed away. In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus cases reported in Syria has amounted to 28,045 till now, of which 22,491 have recovered, while 2018 have passed away. The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first death from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
