Baby girl dies in Egypt hospital fire ...Kuwait

A baby girl has died and eight others were injured after a fire broke out at a hospital nursery in Egypt's Qena governorate, according to local reports. The hospital's nursery oxygen pump regulator reportedly caught fire, which cut off the children's oxygen supply. As a result, a 20-day old baby died, the director of security in Qena Governorate, Major General Musaad Abu Sakeen said.  Eight children were rescued and security services managed to put the fire out. Ambulances transported the infants to Qena General Hospital where they were treated.  The Security Director of the Qena Governorate has demanded an investigation into the incident.
