AIR QUALITY: The Mendocino County Air Quality Management District reported at 4 p.m. Thursday that “air monitors show particulate matter concentrations in the ‘Unhealthy’ air quality level for most parts of the county and ‘Moderate’ for the coastal areas. Current smoke impacts are from surrounding wildfires to the north and east of Mendocino County and the wildfires in Oregon. Smoke from these fires is mainly over the northern and inland areas of the county.
