Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 70 new coronavirus cases were recorded, adding that 17 cases recovered while two others passed away. In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus cases reported in Syria has reached up to 26,479 till now, of which 22,183 have recovered, while 1,942 have passed way. The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported on the 29th of the same month.
