Angels Camp CA…On 7-27-2021, at approximately 1315 hours, P1 attempted to pass a motor home to the right, through a paved pull out, on SR-49 south of Cosgrave Road. An Arnold man was unable to maintain his motorcycle on the paved surface and road into the gravel. He lost control of his motorcycle which landed on its left side. He was ejected and received major injuries. The rider was transported to Modesto Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in this traffic collision.
