Ukiah is hosting a guided Ginko haiku walk through downtown Ukiah on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 11:30 a.m. Participants will make poems based on visual and aural observations of our surroundings, play with metrics, rhythm, and cadence to discover where the syllables take us. Ukiah Poet Laureate Melissa Eleftherion Carr, author of field guide to autobiography, huminsect, little ditch, and others will facilitate this haiku walk experience. This is a free event.
