San Andreas, CA…June 18, 2021 was Lieutenant Dennis Huberty’s last day as a Calaveras County Sheriff full time employee. Lieutenant Huberty was born and raised in Calaveras County, graduating from Calaveras High School in 1977. He began his career with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office on February 22, 1982, when he was hired as a correctional officer. Three years later on May 11, 1985, he transferred to the patrol division as a deputy sheriff.
