Mr. Jay Sanders Mr. Jay Sanders, age 53 of Elmwood, died Friday afternoon, June 4 at Riverview Regional in Carthage. He is survived by: daughter, Miranda Sanders of Lewisburg; parents, J. T. and Dean Sanders of Elmwood; brother, Chuck Sanders of Elmwood. Mr. Sanders is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Wednesday afternoon, June 9 at 3:00 PM. Eld. Terry Ray will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers are: Jr. Sanders, Trevor Sanders, Bob Dickens, Mike Givens, Steven Ray, Gerald Daniel, Steve Angel, Stan Farley.
