Ideal Indian School (IIS) recently celebrated Qatar Cultural Week – ‘Ahlan Qatar’ with the aim of creating awareness among the students about Qatar’s rich culture, traditions and heritage and also to promote national identity. Various activities were conducted in all the sections on a virtual platform throughout the week. In the junior section, the students were dressed in colours of the Qatar national flag and in the traditional Qatari dresses during the week. An elocution competition was held both in English and Arabic languages. Poster making, video presentation on Qatar’s rich culture, traditions and heritage, singing Qatar national anthem, Arabic folk songs and dances were also conduct
