To the Editor: It is time for City of Ukiah to divest from fossil fuel investments. I made a personal decision a number of years ago — that to want to make money from things that harm people and the environment is absolutely an “oxy-moron”… just doesn’t make sense.   So I divested from anything that supported tobacco, sodas, alcohol, big pharma, and other such things.  I’ve never regretted my decision.  Acting in accordance with the greater good, in the bigger picture, is the action of merit. It is often difficult to “wrap our minds around” ideas that go against our conditioned and usual actions.  Change feels somehow upsetting and “wrong” to the conditioned mind.  There is usually a period
