A driver was pinned under his vehicle Tuesday after it rolled into a ditch on Vichy Springs Road, the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority reported. UVFA Battalion Chief Justin Buckingham said the crash was discovered by paramedic Keith Quigley, who lives in the area and was off-duty when he spotted the sedan in a ditch near Watson Road around 9 a.m. June 1. Quigley stopped to help the driver after reporting the incident. When more firefighters arrived, Buckingham said they propped up the vehicle on blocks and used the Jaws of Life to free the driver, whose arm was pinned underneath the vehicle, described as a Lexus sedan.
