The Smith County 4-H Wildlife Judging Team competed on Monday, May 17th, at the Central Region 4-H Wildlife Judging Contest held at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. Representing Smith County was Senior High member Carson Meeks. In the Junior High Division were Gabe Harville, Caleb Hensley, Owen Meeks, Kynlee Davis, Samuel Moss, and Nate Bryan. Tana and Turner Harville competed in the Junior Division.  These 4-H members worked diligently to learn everything about over 60 birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and fish common in our area. 4-H’ers learned to identify animals by their photos, skulls, pelts, and calls.
