Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Friday that 139 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 175 patients recovered while 14 others passed away. The Ministry added in a statement that the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 21864, of which 15,551 cases have recovered while 1,510 others have passed away. The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year for a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29th of the same month.
