CHP: Ukiah man killed in rollover crash on Highway 253 Sunday ...Middle East

A Ukiah man was killed Sunday when his convertible overturned on Highway 253, the California Highway Patrol reported. According to the CHP, the driver of a green Mazda Miata was heading eastbound on Hwy 253 around 6:30 p.m. March 21 when the vehicle traveled over the double yellow lines for unknown reasons near Mile Marker 12.75. After the vehicle came back into the eastbound lane, it then left the roadway and collided with the dirt embankment and overturned, landing on its roof. The driver suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision. He was identified by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office as Herbert Elmore Henrickson, 80, of Ukiah.
