Abu Dhabi Waste Management Centre (Tadweer) recycled 1,915,724 tons of construction and demolition (C&D) waste in Abu Dhabi in 2020, accounting for 80% of the total C&D waste it handled in the year. According to a statement by Tadweer, the total tonnage of recycled waste is equivalent to 255 domes of the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi.
