For plenty of beauty lovers, a trip to Paris isn’t complete without a stop beneath a glowing green cross, the symbol that marks a pharmacie. American tourists have turned those shops into a must-see, documenting their “French Pharmacy Haul” in videos all over TikTok and Instagram, and many fly home with suitcases packed with creams and serums. This weekend, New Yorkers can get a taste of that ritual without a passport.
Skincare brand Dieux is opening Pharmacie Dieux, its first major pop-up, at 251 Elizabeth St. from Nov. 6 to Nov. 8 in partnership with Sephora. Renderings show the brand has copied the look down to the details: a deep green room lined floor to ceiling with glowing cubbies of product, a long apothecary-style counter and an illuminated green cross bearing the Pharmacie Dieux name.
The real draw of a French pharmacy, though, has never been the décor. It’s the person behind the counter. One Paris pharmacist told The Connexion that the French pharmacy experience “is not just about the products,” but about the advice that comes with them.

Dieux is borrowing that idea too. According to a press release, the brand’s team will staff the counter for 1:1 consultations, with “no appointment and no prescription required,” to help shoppers decode ingredients and build their routines. That’s familiar territory for co-founder Charlotte Palermino, a licensed esthetician known online for cutting through skincare misinformation.
And like any good pharmacy run, nobody leaves empty-handed. The first 50 guests each day will receive a full-size Instant Angel moisturizer, the brand’s reusable Forever Eye Mask, an Auracle Eye Serum sample and a holiday silk scarf. Everyone else gets a pharmacy bag of bestseller samples, and shoppers can buy the full lineup at Sephora Beauty Insider prices while snacking on treats from Librae Bakery and Bon Bon Candy, available while supplies last.
Paris may still have its legendary pharmacies, but from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET this weekend, the green cross is lighting up Elizabeth Street. For fans who’ve only ever seen a French pharmacy haul on their feeds, this one is a subway ride away.
