Krispy Kreme is getting into the holiday spirit with a little help from Ghirardelli, turning the chocolate brand’s beloved hot cocoa into a brand-new doughnut.
On Nov. 4, the doughnut chain announced its new Holiday Seasonal Collection, featuring three festive doughnuts inspired by classic holiday treats. The lineup includes flavors inspired by hot cocoa, sugar cookies and caramel toffee cheesecake, along with the return of a fan-favorite seasonal drink.
The star of the collection is the new Hot Cocoa Doughnut, which starts with Krispy Kreme’s iconic Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing. It’s topped with a dollop of frosting made with Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa, marshmallow bites and a finishing sprinkle of Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa powder.
Chocolate lovers aren’t the only ones getting a sweet treat this holiday season, though. The collection also includes two additional new doughnuts:
Sugar Cookie Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in vanilla-flavored icing and finished with a holiday sugar cookie topping. “The holidays come with a lot of pressure to get everything just right,” said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s chief brand and product officer, in the announcement. “A holiday dozen is the easy part. You don’t have to overthink it – show up with a box and you’ve already said, ‘I was thinking of you.’”
The Holiday Seasonal Collection marks Krispy Kreme’s fifth and final seasonal doughnut release of 2026.
When Can You Get Krispy Kreme’s New Holiday Doughnuts?
The new holiday doughnuts are available now for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide, while supplies last. Customers can purchase the festive doughnuts individually or by the dozen, either in stores or through Krispy Kreme’s website and app for pickup or delivery.
The company did not announce a specific end date or nationwide pricing for the collection.
