Some of the most recognizable homes in horror movie history are actual houses, and a new analysis reveals what it might cost to own the locations where characters from Scream, Halloween, The Exorcist, A Nightmare on Elm Street and dozens of other movies encountered things considerably scarier than a mortgage payment.

AI video platform Magic Hour researched 38 real homes featured in popular horror movies and Halloween favorites, using sources including Zillow, Redfin, public property records and official assessments to estimate their current values.

The result? The most expensive house on the list is worth an estimated $16.8 million.
