Somewhere between the rotisserie chicken and the 48-pack of paper towels, Costco has quietly tucked away a dinnerware set that wouldn’t look out of place in a forest cottage where the woodland creatures do the dishes. Meet the Fitz & Floyd Toulouse Green 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, and yes, it is every bit as charming as it sounds.
The design leans into soft sage greens and warm taupes, all wrapped in a textured, hand-thrown look. Scattered across the pieces are songbirds, fluttering butterflies and loopy bits of European-style script, as if someone left a love letter on your dinner plate. An antique glaze finish gives everything a gently weathered glow, like heirloom china you inherited from your great aunt.

Here’s what’s in the box, which is service for four:
Four 11-inch dinner plates Four 9-inch salad plates Four 28-ounce soup and cereal bowls Four 18-ounce oversized mugsThat’s a roomy bowl for chili night and a mug big enough to hold your entire morning’s worth of coffee, so you can skip the refill and stay in your robe.
The set is made of stoneware, which means it’s sturdy enough for weeknight spaghetti but dressed up enough for a holiday spread. Even better for anyone who has ever hand-washed a delicate platter and silently resented it: it’s both microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. Whimsy that doesn’t require tiptoeing is a rare thing.
