Former Auburn star Charles Barkley has become one of the faces of NBA media for his hilarious takes and back-and-forth conversations with Shaquille O’Neal on Inside the NBA.
Even though the season started on Tuesday, Barkley is in midseason form as he delivered a hilarious ‘Who he play for’ segment on Thursday night.
After failing on his first attempt to name the team of 5 random NBA players, Barkley was asked to repeat the process — twice — and he still came up short. Here’s a clip from the broadcast:

During the segment, Barkley is supposed to guess where a player plays, and he couldn’t get one player right. The players included were Mo Wagner, Mo Bamba, Aaron Wiggins, Taurean Prince and Buddy Hield.
Inside the NBA was on TNT for many years, but in a new tv deal, moved over to ESPN last season. There were concerns that the show would lose some of its luster and fun with the move, but Thursday was a reminder that wasn’t the case.
Fans of Barkley need to enjoy the show while they can, as he has hinted at potentially retiring at the end of the season.
