Who knew Santa had a favorite cookie?
Well, according to Blue Bell’s official Instagram, he may have a hard time choosing just one.
The Texas-based creamery is getting a head start on the holidays by bringing back Christmas Cookies Ice Cream, a seasonal fan favorite that crams not one, not two, but three classic cookies into every sealed carton.
Blue Bell announced the flavor’s return on Oct. 22, giving fans plenty of time to stock their freezers before the stockings are even hung.

“No need to wait on Santa. Our Christmas Cookies Ice Cream arrives in stores beginning today!” the company announced on Instagram.
The festive flavor starts with sugar cookie ice cream loaded with pieces of chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and sugar cookies. Red sprinkles and a swirl of green icing round out the decidedly Christmas-y concoction.

Christmas Cookies first debuted in 2017, when the creamery similarly rolled out the flavor before trick-or-treaters had made their rounds. The combination has returned for several holiday seasons since, becoming a highly anticipated seasonal offering along the way.
Judging by the reaction to this year’s announcement, fans aren’t complaining about the early arrival.
“We’re so back,” one Instagram user celebrated, while another kept things even simpler: “NO WAYYYYY.”

Others offered a little advice for anyone planning to wait until closer to Christmas to grab a carton.
“Grab it while you can. I work for Kroger and last year it was gone by Thanksgiving,” one commenter warned, adding that they hoped stores would order more this year.
That may be worth keeping in mind. Blue Bell says Christmas Cookies is only available for a limited time, and this year’s return is currently being sold exclusively in the brand’s half-gallon size.
So, while Santa may still have a couple of months before he needs those cookies left by the fireplace, Blue Bell fans might want to get a head start.
At this rate, Christmas Cookies might not even survive Thanksgiving dinner.
