To commemorate Kenan Stadium’s centennial season, 97.9 The Hill is inviting community members to share their favorite Kenan memories from the past 100 years. This twice-weekly series will showcase stories from players and fans throughout the fall.
Games at Kenan Stadium are an immense production for everybody involved, from the players on the field to the technicians in the boxes up above. But it was actually a technical glitch which led to one of the most celebratory atmospheres in Kenan history. UNC marching band director Jeff Fuchs shared his perspective of that night.
