ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Hundreds gathered at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center for the annual Golisano Children’s Hospital Gala, raising support for a new integrated care center for children with serious medical needs.
The Saturday night event celebrated community generosity and aimed to raise $2.5 million for the new center, which will combine outpatient medical and dental care for children under one roof.
“And there’s nothing more important than helping the children of our community. And, you know, having an asset where all of our children are ill, critically injured, can come and stay right here and get treated, it’s just a gift,” said Bruce Zicari, CEO of Bonadio Group.
The new integrated care center will offer services like infusion therapy and expanded dental care, helping families access treatment faster and closer to home.
