FAYETTE, N.Y. — A Seneca County woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies said she abused three dogs, leading to her facing animal neglect charges.
Seneca County Sheriff’s deputies said LC Collins from the Town of Fayette, 34, was arrested.
Deputies say a referral from an investigator with the Humane Society of Greater Rochester led to the sheriff’s office investigation. The investigator told deputies that three dogs were surrendered to Lollypop Farm by a family member because of “poor body condition consistent with inadequate or improper nutrition.”
Deputies also say the dogs were under Collins’ care. She’s been charged with three counts of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals: failure to provide proper sustenance, deputies say.
She was taken to the Law Enforcement Center in Romulus and released on an appearance ticket. Collins will go the the Town of Fayette Court on Nov. 10.
