Meghan Markle is putting a meaningful message behind her latest collaboration, teaming up with a nonprofit to support mothers and families in need.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, partnered with Moms Offering More and Archewell Philanthropies to create a limited-edition cream-colored crewneck sweatshirt embroidered with the words “It’s the Little Things.” The $100 sweatshirt launched October 11 in honor of International Day of the Girl, with 100% of proceeds benefiting Moms Offering More and the Alliance for Children’s Rights in Los Angeles.

“Meghan was involved from the start and helped us select the beautiful neutral colors which feel true to her aesthetic,” Moms Offering More founder Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen told the publication.
The sweatshirt’s message has a personal meaning for Herrendorf Cohen, who founded the organization to help mothers and families facing challenges.
In May 2014, she took a walk through Vancouver’s Stanley Park with her father, Hershel Herrendorf. As they watched a man feeding ducks, he shared a piece of advice that would stay with her long after his sudden death the following day.
“It’s the little things in life that bring people happiness. You never truly know somebody’s story,” he told her.
More than a decade later, those words have become the inspiration behind the sweatshirt and the organization’s mission to help families through small but meaningful acts of support.
Moms Offering More provides assistance to mothers and historically underserved families across the United States and Canada, including direct grants, grocery and clothing gift cards, food, transportation assistance and other essentials.
The collaboration also supports the Alliance for Children’s Rights, a Los Angeles nonprofit that helps children and young parents affected by the foster care system build safe, stable families. Through its Healthy Teen Families program, the organization provides resources such as prenatal care, parenting education, childcare, baby essentials, housing and employment support.
In a statement about the partnership, Meghan said the organizations share a common goal of helping create a safe and loving future for children.
“We share one intention as parents,” Meghan told PEOPLE, “a safe and loving future for our children — that’s why at Archewell Philanthropies, we partnered with Moms Offering More on this meaningful campaign, in support of the Alliance of Moms. We can all appreciate that ‘the little things’ ladder up to big outcomes, especially when it comes to the future of our children, and we are proud to work together on this initiative as we honor International Day of the Girl.”
The limited-edition “It’s the Little Things” sweatshirt is available for $100 at Moms Offering More’s website, with all proceeds supporting the two organizations and their work with mothers, children, and families.
