Appearing on Kylie Kelce‘s Not Gonna Lie podcast on Thursday, October 8, the social media star came clean about what caused the split from her husband of nearly 14 years. “And then she called me,” Jen told Kelce, who responded with her jaw dropped, “No, she didn’t.”
“Swear to God,” Jen said. “It was a long conversation. I did get a little snarky, but I feel like I kept my composure pretty good. And you know what? I wish him all the best. I hope he finds what he’s looking for.”
Kelce told her, “I feel sad that you had someone in your life, someone who was supposed to be your life partner, who made you feel like you were anything less than, when you are a whole ass meal.”
Jen then admitted that the affair was particularly confusing because she “would initiate (sex) and then be turned down. But you can only be turned down so much before you’re like, ‘I’ll stop asking.’ So that part of my life, I kind of just felt like, ‘This is my lot in life.’ Like, as a good wife, I will tamper down my own very human needs that we all have, in order to make sure that he didn’t feel bad, which is hilarious now in hindsight, because he had all those feelings, just not for me.”
