For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Jensen Norris from Scone, Scotland, has verbally committed to swim at Florida State University beginning in fall 2026.
“Other schools had expressed interest, but their general intention, regrettably, was to wait and see what I would do over the next season. All I was praying for was a program that would believe in me and just give me the opportunity. FSU believed in my potential from my first conversation with them. From first contact, they were genuinely interested in me – as an athlete and as a student. From the pre-calls through the visit, I was welcomed enthusiastically. The Coaches and the Team just felt like my family. From all my conversations with the coaches and other swimmers, they were excited for what value I could bring to the team. After a lot of family discussions and prayer, I had peace about FSU. This made the whole decision easy.”
Norris has represented Scotland and Great Britain at the international level on numerous occasions, including most recently at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. There he finished 15th in the 100 free in a 49.79.
Earlier this summer, he swam to a 13th place in the 50 free with lifetime best 22.65 at the 2026 European Junior Championships. He also swam in finals for Great Britain’s boys 4×100 free relay as he split a 49.21.
Norris’s Best LCM Times (With SCY Conversions) Are:
50 free: 22.65 (19.68) 100 free: 49.50 (43.15) 100 fly: 54.41 (47.75)The Florida State men finished 6th out of 15 teams at the 2026 ACC Championships and went on to finish 25th at the 2026 NCAA Championships.
