All 11 seasons of The Walking Dead are finally getting a new streaming home.

AMC announced at New York Comic Con that the complete original series will become available on AMC+ for the first time beginning Jan. 7, 2027.

That means fans will be able to stream all 177 episodes of The Walking Dead on the service, from its 2010 premiere through its 2022 series finale.

The flagship series will join AMC+’s already extensive “The Walking Dead Universe” collection, which includes all six of its spinoff series. Altogether, the collection will offer a whopping 371 episodes from across the zombie franchise.

“The Walking Dead continues to be one of the most popular television franchises in the world, and we’re thrilled to add the groundbreaking, original series to our flagship streaming service,” Courtney Thomasma, EVP Linear and Streaming Products for AMC Global Media, said in a statement.

The news was revealed by executive producer Scott M. Gimple during the New York Comic Con panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which is preparing for its fourth and final season in February 2027.

What ‘The Walking Dead’ Shows Will Be on AMC+?

In addition to all 11 seasons of The Walking Dead, subscribers can find all six spinoffs in the collection.

Fear the Walking Dead ran for eight seasons and became the franchise’s first spinoff. The Walking Dead: World Beyond followed the first generation to grow up during the walker apocalypse, while anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead told standalone stories within the universe.

More recent additions include The Walking Dead: Dead City, starring Lauren Cohan as Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan; The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which reunited Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes and Danai Gurira’s Michonne; and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, starring Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride.

AMC+ will also offer specials, bonus episodes, behind-the-scenes material, Comic-Con panels and collections devoted to fan-favorite characters.

The original The Walking Dead premiered on Halloween night in 2010 and went on to become one of AMC’s signature shows. Its sprawling ensemble cast included Lincoln, Reedus, McBride, Cohan, Morgan, Steven Yeun, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Chandler Riggs, Lennie James and Michael Rooker, among many others.

The series ultimately ran for 11 seasons and 177 episodes before concluding in November 2022, but its universe has continued expanding through its various spinoffs.

And it isn’t finished yet. The fourth and final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is scheduled to premiere in February 2027, meaning fans who start their 371-episode marathon when the original series arrives Jan. 7 might want to clear quite a bit of space on the calendar.
