ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The 10th annual Flower City Pottery Invitational took place at the Flower City Arts Center on Friday.
The event featured music, food, and more than 1,000 colorful and unique works by about 20 ceramic artists from around the country.
“We have artists here from 12 different states, and you’ll find things that are really unique and artistic and elevated, and then you’ll find very practical pieces,” said Kristin Rapp, executive director.
She also said the event sells ceramics to collectors.
People who missed the event can view the artwork all weekend at the center. It’s open Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Both days are free.
