The spooky special sees comedians Jack Dee, Daisy May Cooper, Phil Wang, Lou Sanders, Reece Shearsmith, Harriet Dyer and Tom Allen locked in a battle of nerves and wit as they try to break their rivals without cracking themselves. Jimmy Carr will return as host once more, along with Roisin Conaty back as his deputy.
And in this special, there is a new rule - as shown in the spooky new trailer below - in which alongside the usual ban on laughing, screaming also means elimination. Fans can expect cursed props, ghostly interruptions and spine-tingling surprises, all of which have been designed to catch even the bravest comic off guard. As per the synopsis, the famous faces will "use every ounce of their comedic talent to break their opponents without laughing or screaming". The rules are simple: laugh and you're out, scream and you're out.
It also won the comedy entertainment award at the 2026 RTS Programme Awards, best entertainment programme at the 2026 Broadcast Awards and best entertainment series at the 2025 Edinburgh TV Festival.
Seasons 1 and 2 of the UK version are available to watch on Prime Video now, with a third season due to launch in 2027.
