ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Flower City Park on Monday night.
Rochester Police responded at 8:03 p.m. to find a pedestrian in the roadway who had just been hit by a vehicle and was determined to be dead at the scene. The investigation was still going on as of 10:49 p.m., with evidence technicians processing the scene. Police said the driver remained on the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.
No charges have been filed as of 10:49 p.m., police said.
Lake Avenue was closed between Flower City Park and Gorsline Street, though police said they expected it to reopen by midnight.
