ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Dozens of people locally are facing layoffs as Amazon says one of its partners is ending its delivery service.
A WARN notice, filed by New York State, claims KJ Quality Logistics is getting ready to let go 41 people. The address listed is at this Amazon delivery station on Lexington Avenue in Rochester.
According to the notice, contract termination is to blame for the layoffs, which start late November.
Amazon says its connecting impacted employees with other delivery service partners in the area.
