ROCHESTER, N.Y. – We’re done with the rain, and cooler air is settling in Friday night and to start the weekend. The sky will continue to slowly clear overnight, and with that temperatures falling into the 40s for the lakeshore counties, and possibly upper 30s south. Saturday will be a beautiful day with abundant sunshine and just a few passing morning clouds. It’ll be a little cooler than average, with highs in the lower half of the 60s, but very comfortable for outdoor activities.
Sunday will be the milder weekend day, with highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. But we’ll see some more clouds moving back in ahead of an approaching cold front. We should start off with a mostly sunny sky before clouds increase. There’s the slight chance of a brief passing afternoon or evening shower, but most of the day will be dry for most of the area. If you’re going to the Bills game, it’ll be a cool morning for tailgating, but warming up for the game. So dress in layers that you can shed as the afternoon goes on!
Cooler air continues to pour in on Monday following the cold front, which means we may see a few lake enhanced rain showers from time to time. But once again, plenty of dry time and another punch of crisp, fall air. Tuesday will remain cool but very pretty with lots of sunshine.
