ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Tracking steady rain for Friday morning and midday before drier air arrives this afternoon and evening. The rain is part of a cold front that will cross the region today. That front will sweep the warm and humid air to the east and south as our temps will fall into the 50s and low 60s Friday evening. Breezy at times with gusts over 20mph. Even though the day starts very wet we should dry out nicely for evening events including ROC the Block Party for the start of the Americans hockey season and all high school football games tonight. Threat Tracker will be green into the weekend with nice weather for Saturday and Sunday.
Looking ahead to the weekend some fine fall air arrives for a sunny, dry and crisp Saturday. Great weather for all the fall festivals and trips to the local farms. Partly sunny and a touch milder Sunday with good weather for the Bills game against the Patriots in Orchard Park. More cool air arrives early next week with perhaps a little morning frost away from the lakes next week. Stay tuned to News10 for updates.
