If you’re a K-Dramaphile, then you’ve likely seen 2022’s Business Proposal starring Ahn Hyo-seop and Kim Sejeong. The popular rom-com finds Ha-ri (Kim) pretending to be her friend on a series of blind dates to scare off her would-be suitors except her latest date is Ha-ri’s boss, the chaebol CEO of the food conglomerate where she works as a food researcher. Instead of scaring him off, he proposes something entirely different. The series brought Ahn to the forefront of rom-com popularity. He became even more popular after voicing the character of Jinu in K-Pop Demon Hunters. Ahn’s next project is Final Table, where he plays a top chef competing on a reality food show.

What is Final Table about?
The Table: K-Chef 2026 sets out to crown the best Korean chef alive. Kang Han (Ahn), a world-class talent who works behind the name “Chris K.”; Choi Song-yi (Hong Hwa-yeon), fighting to keep her late father’s restaurant standing; Cha Woo-jin (Chang Ryul), a star chef who accepts nothing short of perfection; and a field of chefs who each carry a story of their own. They push one another to the edge, plate after plate — and somewhere between the rounds, the rivalry turns into something closer to care. A warm survival drama about people who come to win, and end up mending each other’s wounds instead.
